If you work from home full time or part time? My answer – "it depends." Sometimes no choice, but given the choice I think it depends several things:

Will be a work of the house "work" or a "business"? A job, as defined in previous articles, it implies a relationship of employer / employee. You get paid on the basis of an hourly rate or work. In all reality, the employer is set the hours. Just make sure you understand the agreement and did not expect more that will be offered. If the work is going to be a part time and need more income, you might be able to find a second undertaking, which will offer longer hours, or you could consider the combination with a part-time work from home "business" as offering his service as Virtual Assistant in the same or similar field as your job.

How much money you want (or need) to do? Remember, a work from home business is just that – a business. But never forget business – any business, home or otherwise – is a process, have a product or service in demand for people willing to buy the product or service at a price that produces a profit, finding and convincing those people to become your customer or client, and get re-purchase or purchase other products from you. And Most people who plan to work from home when they think about marketing and the market, usually first think of Internet marketing and major market customers looking for products online. But it is a mistake to forget the local market, with lines and marketing methods out, which could include have a local store or office, using classified, Google Local Business, postcards, cold calling (ugh), face to face marketing for a "hot" market, or even door to door (Thomas Fuller – Fuller Brush – began as a door to door salesman and could do so again today.)

Advice – The use of both online and off-line marketing and advertising works best. Regardless of the business, marketing and advertising should never rely only a single technique. The whims of the buying public are fickle and what works well today, not tomorrow. Always have several advertising campaigns and techniques in the game and be continually test and refine them in order to be able to use your precious (and often scarce) marketing and advertising dollars to its best advantage.
